Supreme Court has banned NEET - the standardized common entrance test for medical colleges across India on the grounds that it was pro-elite, divisive, and denied level playing field to students from rural India. The court also slammed NEET, held by Medical Council Of India, as unconstitutional. Will the ban produce more doctors? We discuss.
