Elections 2014: Mumbai registers 52% voter turnout

It almost seemed as if Mumbai would disappoint once again with a poor voter turnout. But figures improved dramatically - from 41% in 2009 to 52% in 2014 - in a last minute voting surge. India and Bollywood personalities too did their bit. Except that a few stars chose IIFA over voting.
