A New Challenge For Indian Students: Sudden Flight Cancellations

2020 was a hard year for students, those in classes 10 and 12, had to fight a long fight in the courts to cancel exams, but the worst hit were those looking to study abroad. In 2021, we seemed to get some clarity on streamlining of exams and government taking note of students travelling abroad and got their vaccines prioritised as well but the students are now facing a new problem - sudden flight cancellations. We speak to several students who wrote to FYI saying they started receiving texts and emails from airlines saying their flights were either cancelled or rescheduled.
