The controversial bill aims to ban commercial surrogacy in India and bars foreigners, singles, live-in and same-sex couples from commissioning surrogacy in India and has come under fire from a host of rights activists. Ms Patel however sticks to her stand, saying, 'surrogacy is a menace that exploits women'.
