A final year student at IIT Kharagpur has bagged a job with Microsoft in the US for an annual salary of over Rs 1 crore. Many may say, all right, it happens these days. But when the student is the son of a very humble welder – someone who makes iron grills for windows – then you have to sit up and take notice.
