Delhi Diesel Diktat: Top Court Slams Brakes

The Supreme Court is all set to pass orders temporarily banning registration of SUVs and diesel cars above 2000cc in the National Capital Region from January to April 2016. Car dealers are up in arms, saying they have inventory piling up and that they'll run into heavy losses with the festive season around the corner. The Court will also pass an interim order that will block trucks registered before 2005 from entering Delhi. How efficient will the government be in enforcing these norms?
