From April 1 next year, Bihar will join the likes of Gujarat, Nagaland and Lakhshwadeep and fully ban sale and consumption of liquor in the state. While, many have lauded chief minister Nitish Kumar's move which was in fact one of his poll promises, but there are others who believe it will lead to growth of illicit and illegal liquor industry. On Agenda, we debate is a blanket ban the real solution?
