Shops Sealed After Cough Syrup Deaths, Doctor Suspended
Following the deaths of infants linked to contaminated cough syrup in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has ordered the immediate suspension of Dr. Praveen Soni, a pediatrician, and the CMO for negligence. Dr. Soni has been attached to the Regional Office of Health Services in Jabalpur, as authorities continue to investigate the case.
