Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske has sought to downplay speculation surrounding the alleged 'Operation Tiger' and possible defections from Shiv Sena (UBT). Responding to claims made by Sanjay Raut regarding monetary offers to MPs, Mhaske said the figures being quoted keep changing and that similar rumours have been circulating for nearly two years without any outcome. He denied knowledge of any meetings, negotiations, or internal discussions regarding defections and suggested that reports stem from dissatisfaction within the Uddhav Thackeray-led camp.
