Self Esteem Programmes We Develop Are For Young People: Dr Helena Lewis-Smith
Dr Helena Lewis-Smith, Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Appearance Research, University of the West of England talked about being approached by the Dove self-esteem project 9 years ago with the goal to reach as many girls as possible across the world. Dr Smith said that they have been developing innovative and engaging tools like chatbots and comics to help young people become more confident about themselves.
