Sabarimala Sees Massive Crowd Surge; NDRF Team Deployed For 24 Hour Medical And Disaster Response
Twenty-six days into the annual Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season, Sabarimala is witnessing a surge in footfall, with tens of thousands of devotees making their way to the hill shrine every day. Authorities are taking special care of devotees as they wait for their turn. To ease the fatigue of those waiting for darshan, the Travancore Devaswom Board has made arrangements to hand out hot chukku or herbed water and biscuits.
