Russia-Ukraine War | NATO & US Draft Two-Layer Security Plan for Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte visited Ukraine to meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and outline a two-layer plan for Ukraine’s future security. The plan includes strengthening Ukraine’s armed forces after a peace deal or ceasefire, and providing long-term guarantees from Europe and the United States. This comes after the Trump-Putin Alaska summit and White House talks, where robust security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed as a priority.
