Speaking at the NDTV-Dettol Banega Swasth India's Lakshya - Sampoorn Swasthya Ka telethon, Ms. Reddy said that the government in association with private entities and other institutions needed to create deeper incentives to put up hospital beds. "The rural model needs funding and doctors have to be encouraged to stay in those areas and push the concept of Ayushmann Bharat so that affordability comes in," Ms. Reddy added.
