Congress's Kamal Nath refused to apologise today for his "Item" remark targeting the BJP's Imarti Devi even after the express disapproval of senior party leader Rahul Gandhi. "It is Rahul Gandhi's opinion," was his response when reporters asked about Mr Gandhi's comment on the escalating row. "I have already clarified the context in which I made that statement... Why should I apologise when I did not intend to insult anyone? If anyone felt insulted, I have already expressed regret," Mr Nath told reporters.
