Project Mumbai – A Mumbai-based not-for-profit, founded by Shishir Joshi, is working towards making Mumbai a better city to live, work and play. Its dedicated 37 volunteers are committed to the cause of recycling plastic as they conduct a plastic re-cyclothon every month in India's financial capital. These dedicated volunteers are joined by thousands of Mumbaikars every month to make the Maximum City, plastic free. All recycled plastic is returned to the life cycle of plastic products, as benches, flower pots, T-shirts etc., all made of recycled plastic.
