NEET Protest | Priyanka Gandhi Calls Govt Action Against Protesting Students 'Undemocratic'
Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday accused the government of acting "undemocratically" over the handling of the student protests. Referring to the detention of Opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and others on Tuesday, as well as government's action on student protesters, she said peaceful protest and freedom of expression are fundamental democratic rights. Priyanka went on to add that the government's response to the agitation was undemocratic.
