Police Officials Shower Flower Petals On 'Kanwariyas' In Haridwar

 Police officials showered flower petals on 'Kanwariyas' carrying the holy water of Ganga in Uttarakhand's Haridwar on July 05. This came in the wake of the order of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Earlier in June, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended a warm welcome to the Kanwariyas and asked the administration to ensure that they do not face any inconvenience. He also directed to shower flower petals on them. The 'Kanwar Yatra' started on July 4 and will continue till July 18.
