Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United Kingdom and the Maldives from July 23 to 26. In London, he will hold wide-ranging talks with Prime Minister Keir Starmer to deepen the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with a focus on trade, technology, defence, and climate. During the visit, PM Modi is also likely to sign the landmark India-UK Free Trade Agreement. A meeting with King Charles is also expected.
Following his UK visit, PM Modi will travel to the Maldives as Guest of Honour for the country's 60th Independence Day celebrations. The visit underscores India’s ongoing commitment to its ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy and Vision ‘MAHASAGAR’ initiatives.
