PM Modi Speaks To Balen Shah, Offers Support As Flash Floods Devastate Nepal

A sudden outburst in the Bhotekoshi River flowing through Rasuwa District bordering China in Nepal has caused large-scale damage. As per NTB, around 105 Indians were among ‘missing’ foreign nationals after devastating flash flood hit Nepal. PM Modi spoke with Nepal PM Balendra Shah, expressing condolences over lives lost in the devastating floods. He assured Nepal of India’s support, saying Indians stand with their Nepali brothers and sisters during this difficult time. India is prepared to provide all possible humanitarian assistance to Nepal as devastating floods triggered a major crisis. PM Modi said Indian teams are coordinating closely with Nepalese authorities to support ongoing rescue and relief operations. India has offered comprehensive rescue and relief assistance as Nepal grapples with widespread destruction.
