In a major shift from its previous policy, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said India is inclined to vote in favour of the resolution at the United Nations Human Rights Council against Sri Lanka but is awaiting the final draft of the resolution. This was a demand from MPs from Tamil Nadu, including UPA's ally the DMK.
