First Batch of Indian Paralympic Team Leaves for Tokyo

The first batch of India's contingent for the Tokyo Paralympics left from Delhi for the Japanese capital on August 18. The Sports Authority of India organized a felicitation ceremony for the players at the IGI Airport. Paralympic Committee of India's President, Deepa Malik, was also present at the airport. She said, "I'm delighted. I'm in a different role as I'm not playing this year but it is a different feeling to work alongside para-athletes. The team looks in great shape.
