The nation prayed for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as he underwent multiple bypasses on Saturday. It took a team of highly skilled surgeons a little over twelve hours to perform the operation. In all five bypasses were carried out to take care of five blockages to restore normal flow of blood in the heart.
