NDTV impact: Salaries of MP aanganwadi workers hiked

The Madhya Pradesh state government has decided to raise the salaries of anganwadi workers and their helpers from April 2007. An anganwadi worker currently gets Rs 1,000 while her helper gets Rs 500 a month.
