Ex-Army Chief Breaks Silence On Book Controversy, Says No Need To Speak To Rahul Gandhi | Read

Former Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane (Retd.) has responded to questions regarding controversy in Parliament over interpretations of his remarks in a yet-to-be-published book. Speaking to NDTV, he clarified that he did not feel the need to engage politically, including with Rahul Gandhi, as the manuscript is still under review by the Ministry of Defence. He emphasized that commenting publicly during the review process would be inappropriate and reaffirmed his trust in the system. Former Indian Army Naravane also said the book will eventually be released once the clearance process is complete.
