JD(S) leader HD Deve Gowda has met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in connection with the confidence motion in New Delhi. However, his party will decide on the trust vote on Sunday. Ahead of the meeting, the JD(S) had sought to downplay it, saying it did not necessarily mean that the party was going to support the government. "No decision has been taken yet on the party's stand on the trust vote," JD(S) secretary general Danish Ali had said.
