A Maharashtra government boat carrying the Chief Secretary and other senior officials upturned near Shivaji Smarak, about 2.6 km west of Mumbai's Nariman point. Most of the passengers have been rescued by the Coast Guard. "Coast Guard hovercraft has reached the spot. Our choppers are also involved in the rescue," the Coast Guard said.
