India's commercial capital, Mumbai, came to halt on Wednesday when thousands of people descended on the city for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's 50th death anniversary. The event was a massive pilgrimage that brought Dalits from across the country to the heart of the city to the memorial of their leader.
