Integrating lessons about hygiene into school curriculum has a transformative effect. This is also true of Gurukuls that specialise in Vedic studies. NDTV-Dettol Banega Swasth India team visited Parmarth Niketan, a Gurukul that gives Vedic and Yogic education to children from underprivileged backgrounds. Hygiene curriculum as part of the Dettol School Hygiene Education Programme has been translated into Sanskrit to integrate better with daily studies of students at Gurukul.
