Despite the controversy over Tata Motors s Singur issue, ArcelorMittal chief Lakshmi Mittal said on Wednesday that the steel major would go ahead with its India plans. Singur is standalone case, but delays in approvals is causing cost overrun of 50 per cent, he said. ArcelorMittal plans to set up two Greenfield steel plants in Orissa and Jharkhand. Lakshmi Mittal urged the two state governments to expedite approvals. ArcelorMittal has faced already cost overruns in the range of $10 million.
