Mohe, just 32 and a former U Road Transport Corporation contractual employee, died by suicide just over two months after the incident. After this video went viral and some passengers lodged a complaint, Mohit and the bus driver, also a contractual employee, was suspended. Mot's contract was subsequently ended.
