The heavy rainfall yet again exposed the fragile condition of the civic infrastructure in our cities such as Mumbai, with waterlogging and clogged drains seen in several parts, despite the tall promises on monsoon preparedness. The Udhhav Sena protested against the local body BMC, while Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said we should all welcome the monsoon, and not just talk about waterlogging.
