India's northeast is experiencing an unprecedented rise in temperatures. Last year, it was the Himalayan states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand that were in the grip of heat waves. "This is not normal. The heat is unbearable in Moreh," a resident of Manipur's Moreh said.
