Farmers in Nanded in Maharashtra are facing crop damages and unable to repay loans for the last few months. They have now suffered another blow with crop damage because of extremely heavy rain over the last few days. Govind Zagade's soyabean crop has been destroyed and he is facing a loss of Rs 50,000. The heavy rain just before Diwali has increased the troubles of the farmers. It has been talked about giving help at the earliest, but the help will be given when the panchnama of the fields is completed and the information reaches the government. This is a long process, and it will take a lot of time for the government to provide relief to the farmers.
