It's been 40 days of unrest in Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir opposition parties today met in Srinagar and decided to approach the President and seek his intervention to resolve the crisis. They also demanded a judicial inquiry into the excessive use of force. This on a day two armymen and one policeman was killed in a terror ambush in Baramulla. On The Buck Stops Here from Srinagar, we focus on the Kashmir crisis and also look at the continuing storm over Amnesty International India's J&K seminar. We debate: has the J&K conversation been trapped in extremes? Has the middle ground vanished? Is there no space for an honest dialogue on Kashmir?
