What's a common plank between the Ram Janmabhoomi temple at Ayodhya, the 800-crore rupees Yadadri temple in Telangana, the New Indian Parliament building and luxury yachts across the world? The answer is teak logs from a Hyderabad-based family that has been dealing with timber for four generations, for over 100 years, and is the biggest in the business in the country. This family has now converted a massive, rarest of rare, over a 1000-year-old teak log, into a unique carving of Adishesha Sayana Sri Maha Vishnu in Hyderabad, using craftsmen and artists from Myanmar and India.
