Outrage, anger, concern after a US court dropped criminal charges against a policeman who ran a speeding police vehicle over an Indian student Jahnavi Kandula in January last year. The officer Kevin Dave has been let off after prosecutors could not prove "conscious disregard for others safety". Insensitive comments made by another officer calling the 26-year-old Indian student of "limited value", revealed after the release of bodycam footage recorded after the accident, had incensed people specially from the Indian community.
