Manipur Valley-Based Armed Group Signs Peace Deal With Government

This is the first time a Manipur valley-based armed group has agreed to renounce violence and join the mainstream. This includes 65 workers of the Pambei faction of the United National Liberation Front while the 300-strong Koireng faction continue to operate from Myanmar, sources say. Ratnadip Choudhury explains
