Explained: Enforcement Directorate Summons To 5 Tamil Nadu Officers Paused

Madras High Court has stayed the Enforcement Directorate summons to five District Collectors in Tamil Nadu in connection an alleged illegal sand mining in the state. The Tamil Nadu government contended before the court that ED's investigation is mala fide and outside their jurisdiction. Pausing the summons, the court has allowed the agency to continue with its investigation in the case. NDTV's Arvind Gunasekar brings more details.
