Under mounting pressure to take action against illegal mining and sack the Reddy brothers from his cabinet, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa is busy firefighting in New Delhi. He met with Home Minister P Chidambaram earlier today and briefed him about the situation in the state. He is understood to have countered the Governor's charge that a jungle raj is prevailing in the state.
