A final year student at IIT Kharagpur has bagged a job with Microsoft in the US for an annual salary of over one crore rupees. Many may say, that's ok, it happens these days. But when the student is the son of a welder – someone who makes iron grills for windows – who lives 15 kilometres away from Bihar Patna, then you have to sit up and take notice.
