UN Climate Change Summit Begins Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the climate change summit on November 1 and 2 in Glasgow. Leaders from 196 countries are participating in the summit. Research scholars hope PM Modi will announce ambitious plans and pathways. India, the 3rd largest emitter of greenhouse gas in the world, had rejected calls to announce net zero carbon emissions target.
