Uddhav Thackeray's Nephew Meets Eknath Shinde, Pledges Support

A month after being unseated as Maharashtra Chief Minister, and now struggling to hold onto the Shiv Sena, Uddhav Thackeray suffered a setback in terms of political optics today, though with riders. His nephew Nihar Thackeray - who hasn't been much of a political player so far - met and pledged support to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the rebel Sena leader who has been claiming the party founded by Bal Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray's father.
