Tough day for Mumbaikars: Taxis off the roads

It's a busy weekday, but Mumbai's roads seem barer. And commuters have a tough day ahead. The city's buses and trains are likely to be more crowded than usual today, with 85,000 taxis and one lakh auto-rickshaws keeping off the roads. Auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers are demanding a hike in fares because of the recent increase in the prices of CNG.
