Top Congress Leaders Meet: Concerns Over INDIA Bloc Seat-Sharing

The Congress is in a huddle in the run-up to 2024 to discuss seat sharing before negotiations with the INDIA bloc parties begin. State unit chiefs met top leaders of the Congress. The CLP leaders and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and the Gandhis were also present at the meeting. But there are certain sticking points when it comes to seat sharing. There are a couple of challenging states, including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Bengal, and even Delhi. To an extent, there doesn't seem to be much movement when it comes to seat sharing and a constructive decision on that because, well, the worries continue as even within the India bloc, there are differences that need to be ironed out.
