Tibetans in exile celebrated the 34th birthday of the 11th Panchen Lama with great fanfare according to Tibetan customs, in McLeodganj on Tuesday. Followers prayed for the long life and good health of the Panchen Lama. The 11th Panchen Lama is the second most important spiritual leader in Tibetan Buddhism after the Dalai Lama.
