"This Vote Is For PM Modi": BJP's Baghpat Lok Sabha Candidate Tells NDTV

Union Minister and sitting lawmaker Satyapal Singh of the BJP expressed confidence as he spoke to NDTV about the upcoming general polls. Dismissing BJP's failure in UP's Kairana bypolls as a different sort of election altogether, Mr Singh said that voting for the Lok Sabha elections meant a vote for PM Modi. "This is a vote for development, for security, for nationalism and for Prime Minister Modi," Mr Singh told NDTV. The BJP candidate for UP's Baghpat is pitted against RLD chief Ajit Singh's son Jayant Chaudhary.
