The only hand pump in Madhya Pradesh's Kyota village has gone dry. The people now have no choice but to take a treacherous one km route to get water when day temperatures are soaring to 45 degrees. The village situated on a hillock in Vidisha district is covered under the Nal Jal Yojana, but the pipeline till date has supplied no water.
