Shiksha ki Ore is a campaign organised by NDTV in partnership with the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. The institute has been providing education free of cost to children who come from tribal backgrounds and cannot afford it.

The tribal population in India touches a whopping 10.2 crores with the literacy rate being below 30%. Through this campaign, we want to bring to the forefront the urgent need to help those sections of society who do not have access or cannot afford to educate themselves.
