Services In Government Hospitals Affected In Delhi As Doctors Protest Over NEET Exam

Resident doctors' groups have been holding protests in Delhi for the last 11 days over delays in college allotments after the NEET postgraduate exam. Today, the doctors of AIIMS will also participate in the strike. During the demonstration yesterday, the doctors were taken into custody by the Delhi police. The doctors alleged police brutality and gheraoed the Sarojini Nagar police station. The police have registered a case against the doctors. The doctors are demanding an apology, while the police say that not a single doctor has been assaulted. Now the doctors have announced a complete shutdown of health facilities in Delhi from today morning, the doctors demand that NEET PG Counseling matter should be settled soon.
