A legislator of the Telugu Desam Party, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, was arrested today in Telangana's cash-for-votes scam after a seven-hour questioning session. The legislator from Khammam's Sattupalli assembly constituency had been summoned for questioning last month, but he had not appeared, citing health reasons.
